Destination covered: Srinagar – Kargil – Ulley Camp – Leh – Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake

Day 01 : Srinagar via Sonamarg to Kargil 
The tour starts in Srinagar, the summer capital of the Jammu and Kashmir state. You would start your drive to Kargil. Srinagar is a beautiful city with laid out gardens, temples, Mountain Lake. Enroute explore the mountain meadow valley of Sonamarg. The meadows of Sonamarg have vast stretches of pine and fir trees. 

Continue drive to Kargil town. It is located very near to LOC. It was the centre for Indo-Pak war. On arrival take a hotel.

Day 02 : Kargil to Ulley Camp (160 kms) 
After breakfast drive to Ulley Camp. Enroute stop at Mulbekh village to explore the ancient Rock-cut Statue of Maitreya Buddha. Again stop to take photographs of Lunar like Landscapes near Lamayuru Monastery. 

Reaching Ulley camp, check in and overnight stay.

Day 03 : Ulley to Leh (70 kms) 
Drive to Leh. Enroute visit the Likir monastery, Indus & Zanskar River Sangam and Hall of Fame. Continue drive to Leh. 

It is the capital of Ladakh region. There are good number of temples, monasteries and stupas at this mountain town. Known as Little Tibet this region houses the Buddhist monasteries which has been a centre of Tibetan Buddhism. The kings of Ladakh built royal palaces and patronized for construction of Buddhist monasteries

On arrival take a hotel. In the afternoon visit the Shanti Stupa and local bazaars. You will see lots of handicrafts produced by the mountain tribes. Pick up souvenirs from the Leh markets.

Day 04 : Leh 
The whole day is reserved for sightseeing in Leh. Visit the Leh Palace, one of the major historical buildings built by the king Sengge Namghyal. It is in ruins now, yet it is an imposing building. The architecture is of Tibetan indigenous architecture. Visit the Shey Palace, Shey Palace, Thiksey and Hemis Monasteries, and Stok Palace. All the monasteries have been a centre of Tibetan Buddhism.

Day 05 : Leh - Nubra Valley 
Drive to Nubra valley via Khardongla Pass. Nubra valley has areas of mountain desert, though literally the meaning of Nubra valley is valley of flowers. Ladakhis are the local inhabitants of the valley. 

On arrival take an accommodation. In the afternoon, visit the Hunder & Diskit monasteries. Shop at the local shops of Deskit village. Explore the White sand dunes. Overnight stay at camp accommodation.

Day 06 : Nubra-Leh 
Till lunch explore the mountain beauty of Nubra valley. You can have best view of the Karakoram Range from here. Visit the mountain villages. Afternoon drive back to Leh. On arrival take rest.

Day 07 : Leh-Pangong Lake-Leh (160 kms) 
On the 7th day of Leh Ladakh tour, set out your full day excursion tour to Pangong Lake, one of the blue lakes in Ladakh region. It is the world’s highest brackish lake perched at 14,256 feet above sea level. The crystal clear water of the lake looks wonderful. The beauty of this lake is inexpressive in words. 

Drive back to Leh. In the evening visit the local bazaars.

Day 08 : Leh - Departure 
Your Ladakh hill station tour comes to an end. Take your flight for onward destination
